Search Terms
When you type a name, county, state, or related term into a search tool, that query may be sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Polk County Inmate Population does not store those search terms in its own public-record database.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, the message and reply details may be kept long enough to respond, manage the request, and keep ordinary business records. We do not share those messages outside the organization unless a legal obligation requires it.

Once you leave this site, the privacy rules of the outside site apply.
Advertising partners may also use their own systems to understand activity across websites and show interest-based ads. That processing occurs on the partner's systems, not as an official Polk County record request.
